Hon. Foreign Minister’s Arrival at New Delhi
Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat arrived at New Delhi this evening in order to participate in the second edition of Raisina Dialogue to be organized by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India from January 17, 2017. On his arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Hon. Foreign Minister was received by H. E. Mr. Deep Kumar Upadhaya, Ambassador of Nepal to India, Joint Secretary (Northern Division), Ministry of External Affairs and other officials.
Hon. Dr Mahat will address the conference during its opening panel tomorrow under the theme ‘Big Politics and New Challenges’. He will also have various bilateral engagements.
Initiated by India’s Ministry of External Affairs in partnership with Observer Research Foundation in 2016, Raisina Dialogue has been an annual flagship event on geo-politics and geo-economics, engaging political leaders, analysts, intellectuals, media persons, and business community from around the world.
