B.P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation held its 34th Board Meeting on 20-21 July 2018 at Gangtok, India. The meeting was Co-chaired by Mr. Bharat Kumar Regmi, Charge d ’Affairs, Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi and H.E. Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Nepal. The meeting welcomed new board members Mr. Balbir Punj and Gen. Dalbir Singh Suhag. The Board Meeting reviewed the activities conducted by the Foundation’s Delhi and Kathmandu Secretariats from July 2017 to June 2018.
The foundation has been playing very important role to foster educational, cultural, technical cooperation between Nepal and India. The Delhi Secretariat(Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi) conducted 31 programs from July 2017 to June 2018 in different parts of India and Nepal. The programs were organized in various areas such as sports, art, culture, education, health, training, etc. Next Board of Directors meeting of the foundation is proposed for January 2019 in Nepal.
